i am 38 and was addicted to Diablo 2 LoD very late..
i think it was patch 1.09 or 1.10.. it was the first time when uber Tristram was possbile and we stood with some "freaky" guys (Summoner-Necro, Hammer-Pala and Tornade Druid) in front of ueber Duriel and wont be able to kill it.. very crazy ..
i love this game after this experience. espeacially the Ladder Resets which i was part of the upcomming years (2010 and so on i think).... it was very funny and some real gameplay comes up with some various players.. i was unhappy that europe was the only region which was always 1 step ahead...At this time resets were on Tuesday / Wednesday nights and we must "stay alive" sometime until 4am in the morning until the ladder was reset.. one time it was crazy that the reset didnt pick every Char from last ladder, so some ppl were able to use there old level 90 chars to rush everyone right at the beginning :)..
after all i must say.. times chaging --> family, house, kids and other stuff to do.. i am glad that this old game is stilll alive and some really nice ppl playing it.. the resurrected part gives the upcomming generation the chance to get some real feeling about Diablo 2, but i suggest that this feeling from tha past could never be reached again..
