Disagree - That concept stems from judeo-christian beliefs, control levers.

With great rights like free speech comes greater responsibility on the individual. You are still liable for your words and the consequences even if government says otherwise. There is intelligence in propagating an idea anonymously rather riding on it publicly for profit.

I don't think rights carrying responsibility is uniquely Judeo Christian. That's a principle found across many philosophical traditions. I do agree that free speech doesn't remove accountability. You're still responsible for the consequences of your words. And anonymity can be valuable; sometimes ideas deserve to be judged on their merits rather than the identity of the person expressing them.

I don’t know how you’re drawing that conclusion from my post. The bulk of the value of free speech is that it ensures open criticism of all viewpoints.

If I say something mean and you shoot me in the head and then a large portion of the population celebrates, those people do not support free speech. They are despicable.
