We have strict no swimming in lasagna signs where the need for such cautionary signs are needed.

Oh? Forgive me. I was trying to be funny, but my funny always flops. Those ripples in the no swimming among the nearby rapids sign look like lasagna pasta. :blush:
As for boating in the rapids, the rapids are pretty strong. I have only seen those tourist huge rubber boats taking people from Old Montréal to the rapids and back.

Where i grew up, usually Caution from water signs were due to alligators. People caught Bull sharks in the Tennessee River.
