This is great, just used goatment and got a an elite cursed fanta. I had a reg cursed lance with HF but I'd rather have an elite since I maxed Bind demon. Too hard to get a HF elite, happy with my fanta

Its better to use a basic cursed holy freeze TZ mob than to use a superunique without cursed. The aura might raise its damage output by 10%, curse can raise it by 200% and same with your blood boil
Its an absolute necessity here to have curse + holy freeze, its just very difficult to get on unique mobs

respec'd last night and it seems fun compared to nerf'd ES. still trying to get a hang on managing the mana. can't just tele around blindly like before, have to be a bit more thoughtful with character placement

ya it's weird because I rebound one of it's minions and I got HF and cursed in the text but the curse is not procing at all with the HF.

Its easy enough if you use an insight staff in +3 teleport base, which you can get from a2 drognan in norm



Also make sure you DON'T do it in a cursed TZ
afaik, there's a glitch that if you bind tz uniques with cursed in a game with cursed tz, it also malfunctions.

Its either, non-cursed TZ in which case any other affix works because you won't get it on the unique, or cursed TZ and getting the normal monsters with 1/2 the hp and no extra affixes

It was actually a non cursed TZ that it happened in. Either Mana Burn / Cold Enchanted. It was weird.

I am pretty sure that minions that you bind will display the affixes of their respective uniques, but not actually benefit from them
Only the unique will actually carry that affix, the minions don't even get the TZ affix, worst target of all

ugh I did about 15 public runs following a group and burned nearly a dozen shards snagged about 10-15 cursed lancers total because my luck was pretty good on that part, and still never once got holy freeze
broke my heart when I found a P8 tz96 lancer with stone skin, cursed, lightning enchanted as its 3 affixes, and I bound it and it got.... thorns aura
even with max bind build I'm giving up and going back to a trash mob cursed tz just because its easier

Thoughts on getting bind to 15 or 20 and leaving blood oath for last? I feel like I do so much fire damage already with the tainted and I have enough +skills that oath is at 25% with 1 pt. Would a maxed out bound demon essentially do more work than the piddly fire damage I am getting from the oath synergy?

Also sadly I don't have enigma but I do have lvl 45 blood boil and I am considering respeccing with 0 pts in blade warp and buying a blade warp dagger from a vendor. I have two baalos

In our comparison with BiS gear it winds up about +25% blood boil damage vs immunes and +60% vs non immunes for the max blood oath build, and +60% bind demon dps for the max bind build with potential for about 30% higher demon hp (less oath %, but use a 2x hp unique). You mostly dont care about boil dps on non immunes and it definitely helps your bound demon kill heralds / bosses faster.
Only real differences in gear are swap fire for phys sunder and fire for phys uber jewel and free up a facet socket. Not really an advantage in that socket since a ber rune would just offset the -10% dr on bone break

I almost gave up too but I found a cursed elite with HF in a p8 TZ game in Ancient's way. It's a huge grind, won't be doing that again.
