The passages you cited were never intended to be scientific textbooks. We still say "the sun rose" and "the sun set" today even though we know the Earth rotates. That's ordinary observational language, not a scientific claim. Likewise, Psalm 93 is a poetic psalm about God's sovereignty and the stability of creation, not a lesson in astrophysics.
The issue is that Christians eventually realized they had misread the genre and intent of those passages. But that doesn't mean every traditional interpretation is therefore suspect. To argue that biblical teachings on sexuality might be wrong because some Christians misunderstood astronomy is a non sequitur.
Fact: You thought you had a good point.
I suppose you thought you had a good point when you called someone the R word?
P.S. You need to review your understanding of what a non sequitur is.
"I feel at peace, therefore I am right, history and His Church don't matter."
you are suffering prelest. in humility, seek His Church and talk to a priest. I pointed out all of your logical and theological fallacies and instead of addressing these flaws you appeal to victimhood and personal feelings, there is nothing further I can do.
Sure, tell yourself whatever you need to to keep your boat afloat.
There never was anything you could do to start with. You established that with your very first post which was nothing more than a petty, ego-filled attempt at an insult. Attempting to have a civil discussion with you would be a waste of my time because the likes of you cannot be reasoned with. I learned that a long time ago with my brother. I am willing to have a civil discussion with you, but only if you first apologize for that first post and then demonstrate some humility yourself. Until then, I will no longer waste my time with you.
