so she maxed 3 cards and we are fucked hard.


now we have a monthly income of negative 600$

Been there but as a solo. There not a lot of options..
3 only real options.
1- find a friend of family membre that can lend you xx,xxx k
And come up with a payement plan with no intereste- best option by far push this option.

2-bankrupcy. Could possibly have her go bankrupt as she is the problème. It would be important that you isolate yourself from this option so you can have strong foundation and still have accès to crédit if needed.

3- make more money but this one is tricky..

Abandon the card and payments, it'll take them 2-3 years to sue for it. Speaking from experience...then you go to court and settle for a much lower payment. Credit will be fucked, atleast you can eat. Then you rebuild credit over the next 7 years.

Great position to be in if you already own a home, have stable income, and commit to the plan and just make sure you have the vehicle you already want/need. It sucks, but it'll come to an end eventually and be favorable.
