Has anyone tested clear rates for eth vs non eth archon staff obsession?

I'm thinking since the magic damage is what carries this build, eth isn't going to make a big difference for dps?

obsession has no enhanced damage so doesn't matter if it's eth/non-eth.
no physical damage , sustain could be difficult and using more pots.

True about the ed, I was just thinking the +skills and higher fcr of obsession is more useful than the eth cv insight I'm using for my weapon right now

Insight on merc and leeching from me seems like plenty of sustain, no need for pots.

Think of it similarly to the way people think about eth titans vs non eth titans. There is no impact on your lightning fury damage/clear speed, but more physical damage from the hit = a little more leech. If that's important to you, then go with the eth one.

Eth Fortitude Thunder Maul
Deadly/High Physical for Leech
FCR
Resists

Lose Skills only
try them in single player and you will see fort is smooth like butter and you lose a little dmg

I put it on a eth archon just for the look, for a hex purge build all your damage are mainly +skill/- magic/+ magic damage. base damage and ed are irrelevant. you might want to replace your merc to bless aim one as well, AR > ed in this build. might aura dont benefit you one single bit.
