Sunders were moved into the same category of "unique grand charms" as gheeds.
Earlier there was one unique gc. Now there's gheeds + all sunders.
So gheeds is now 7x rarer.

The sunders can drop anywhere now, so I assume they indirectly reduce gheed chances.

if non terror zone , then it would still be gheeds tho right?

nope sunder drops in both tz and non-tz, just a roll to upgrade a magic grand charm into a unique, then chooses between the unique grand charms suitable for that ilvl. And sunder's ilvl is low enough it starts dropping in NM
for every 7x gheeds that would drop in hell andy runs or travincal or TZ zones in patch 3.1, now you get 6x sunders and 1x gheeds
