On my single player adventures I need to make something that will kill ancients for the jewels. I have a lot of gear but don’t have HRs laying around. Thinking smiter, just need to know minimum gear req and talents. If not smiter, what else?

Check budget build from icyveins "Smiter Paladin Build BiS Gear and Runes for Diablo 2 Resurrected"
I used it and worked. It was a bit demanding but cheap

What was your strategy? I tried it on a hero edited budget build and got instacooked by blizzard i think, that was before the buff

What are your res? I had a lot of random charms with +res so was able survive a bit longer. Also tried to kill them one by one so not all of them were attackign me

I've done uber tristram with far worse gear than this, but since single player on nintendo switch 2 im not having any friends to help or hero editing to get my stuff back so i gotta make sure its gonna work
i also have a bunch of random +resist charms to specific elements too as well sa a low rolled kiras I could use instead of gface, and a templars might
i also have a pair of marrow walks

This is bullshit.

I have a fully geared smite not budget and it got wrecked by one single WW.

The game sucks they made these too strong and it’s a waste of statues to even try.

I have ethereal 45 res exile
2 socket COA with ED / ias jewels
Life tap gloves
String of ears
Gores
Double raven
Max resists
Full smiter build
Etc

sounds like a skill issue to me

Max resists are NOT enough, also you don't seem to have fire absorb (dwarf star/rising sun). I feel like your anger is misplaced, it's your bad itemization. Challenging content is good.
