Played this game a long time, seen a lot of things.
I was pked as I entered sewers level 1 faster then the screen loaded. So from my view, i enter trap door, I saw "player hosted" and the dead screen upon sewers map loading.
Is there a script that would allow someone host enter and kill that quickly on d2r? Not really looking for opinions, hoping someone has experience.
If it was legit, I am very impressed. Annoyed, but impressed.

Yeah this is very easy to do without any hacks, they’re just spamming abyss/chains or blood boil at the entrance of sewers

To clarify, my 89 warlock. They were a Java zon.
A Player cannot host from sewers and the player was not hostile prior to me entering sewers.
As I said I have played the game a long time and understand these mechanics. Its the speed of being able to host, enter sewers, and kill that raises my eyebrows.

there are ways to reduce load times. legit ways. if you haven't done the required file copying into the right folders, you probably have longer load times

Was he next to you when you entered the sewer? If so he just entered it at the same time, have a much faster load time so he’s able to attack you while you’re still loading. And you died one 1-2 charge strike hits, so everything makes sense

There's a way to bypass the 10s waypoint cool down on hostile?

There’s no hostile timer delay for entering sewers (unless they’re taking sewer wp) it’s the same as walking out into the blood moor, unlike taking WPs.

He sat at entrance, waited for you to go while having his party screen up. Hostiled you, entered, poked you. Takes all of 2 seconds.

I used to do this on USEast back in 1.09 with a low level pker. There is no delay after hostiling when entering an entrance like the sewers, unlike wps. You just have a slow computer or reflexes, and the other guy was gunning for your ear.
