i was online, was in a autocreated game.

idk if it's a bug, but i literally only got my 2nd body back.

I doubt it would be a bug. Rather an intentional change. But I have never heard of this change happening.

I have heard of people losing their gear similarly because what they used as their main equipment didn't have a high gold value compared to whatever crap they put on after. I am not sure if item value is calculated based on buying price or selling, and/or if there is the 35k limit per item if the calc is done on the selling side.

yeah, the single item i was wearing is 35k at the shop. but my original gear was definitely over 35k. maybe youre right, they calculate it differently? i lost a ars'tor'baal i had just found today that was near perfect TT. everything else was relatively replaceable

yea, cuz if you sell certain items for 35k and try to buy them back, the cost can at times be in the several hundreds of thousands of gold. Even for a blue. Uniques do not fetch nearly as much coinage for some reason. So yea, this is what my money is on.
