When using Hex Purge, does the weapons base damage have any effect on your damage output?

I need to make an insight to use temp and I'm unsure if it should be eth or non eth.

Well, if you use an Eth weapon it is less stats to use so that is more points into VIT so it is better no matter what.

Weapon damage will help with life/mana leech, plus add physical damage for those rare magic immunes if you aren't breaking them.

Use the non eth until you find an eth, insight runes are easy to farm.
