If you were to use black cleft, shouldn't you use horazon boots for the magic resistance?

Which critters deal magic damage?

Not many that I can think of tbh. I know some mobs in chaos cast bone spirit but they don’t hit very hard

There’s probably more but I’ve never seen magic damage as a serious threat in pvm

I think you need the resist and mana tbh, resist boots makes it so you can use mana small charms which you rly need for longer teleports imo

Redemption keeps your mana topped off but you still need a high enough mana pool for it to be viable

Before rotw mages used frostburn double soj and spirit for pvm and you had high mana from that. Now with zaka and 1x opal and mages/trang its a lot lower

I dunno how you guys play but honestly, even the summoner dudes kinda hurt and chunk a bit with a sunder....and having the magic resist from Horazon boots there helps quite a bit (I generally have a preference for tombs for fast leveling and reasonable MF). But that's with hammers. I believe mage is a bit more range and easier targeting? Haven't done it yet

Also quality of life is a huge thing for me at least. Having to pot a lot to sustain...is a no from me dawg. So I'm wondering on people's experiences with that too

oh yea those may hurt, im not sure if bone spear is the part that hurts, but i know for a fact those deal a lot of dmg even with maxblock (so i assume its bone spear damage)

may be worth swapping to horazon boots for certain zones, or just use um in shield and horazon boots by default
