I’m not saying you can’t use pots, renegerate by itself, or use insight. I’m saying: you cant spam CL forever when using BIS damage gear

IDK, I feel like if you don't use pots at all that's just a waste of resources. It's not like I'm chugging pots every kill, either.

Doesn't contradict what I said though. Like I said, you can absolutely use pots/insight/self-regen, but you'll be sacrificing one thing or another, like QoL. This is why nova sorc is preferred.

Yes, but mine can run p8 fine until it comes to heralds. Lightning is probably better vs heralds, havent tried it though.

Yeah, like I know nova's strong, I have one that's gg geared and non-ladder now.

But I was looking into lightning vs nova because I kinda wanna go lightning for the sake of variety, and I notice a lot of people just ignore the fact CL exists in all circumstances, even when it makes sense, hence the confusion.

Like yeah, on paper cl is less dam than lightning, but there's situations you'd still use it for more damage.

Chain was fine yeah. Especially for annoying areas. But lighting just felt like since it took fewer blasts that its more worth the mana and time.
