I've build I think a pretty decent trapsin this season, 1st time playing sin ever btw.

Problems I'm facing:

#1 - mana issues after switching insight on merc -> infinity
#2 - lack of cannot be frozen - pisses me off AF

highlight: got good breakpoints at fcr ias & fhr:
- fcr 109 (breakpoint = 102 for 10 frames)
- fhr I think I'm at 4 frames rn (86+ fhr)
- ias 10 or 9 frames - unsure got phase blade crescent moon & 20ias
- nearly capped resists, missing like 5 on fire which ill solve with charms
- no skillers, do not seem to need them, maybe will get 1
- 200-225mf currently which seems to be the sweet spot

cannot find a good solution to fix #1 or #2 without sacrificing something even more important like soj for mana or fcr or ias ;/

gg trapsin claws are impossible to get I think, never saw them anywhere - what can I do to fix this?

CTA 3/3/3 on swap

Decent anni & torch sin

Merc: etr andy socketed with 15ias 14@r jewel + eth sacred armor forti + eth infinity thresher

running out of ideas to make some improvements, switching to pb improved trap speed but... costed me ~500life after BO - kinda sad but a good QoL improvement

apreciate any kind of advice from more experienced players! not feeling the power like I used to feel with ama (used to play her with phoenix for QoL), but I want to give sin a chance ;(

I you want to maximize damage I think 3 trap (& IAS) +LS claws with 2 facets are the top option. These claws are of course obscenely rare and expensive.
I think the 2nd best option is holding brandistock or eth mancatcher (for versatility) Infinity. 3rd is Crescent Moon & Spirit.
You really should get skillers tho.
You fix CBF with the new Horazon boots, but that costs you mf.

Switch wartravs to horazon boots for the CBF mod. You can use some mf charms to compensate.

Put the insight back on your merc.

You don’t need infinity.

- light tea Sunder, crescent, griffs with a -10 lite jewel should be plenty and would set light immunes resistences down to 20% with perfect -light rolls on griffs, sunder and colossal jewel.

cannot agree, -66light enemy resists and when I switched from insight to infinity the clear speed nearly doubled

thanks for the horazon boots advice, I completely missed out on the fact they give cbf, thats god-tier item <3

how about switching mara to 2/20 sin amu and getting frostburn for mana issue? cost is a little bit of mana & hp loss from losing +2 to bo on cta? OR getting 2/10 amu and swapping 10fcr ring for 2nd soj? would result in only +1skill to bo lmk what u think, really apreciate all your tips (applies to all responders not just the one I quoted on <3 !!!


used AI for calculations & the dmg diff on infinity vs insight is:

edit: also, without infi my merc loses 40crushing blow and he's really making a difference on bosses

Test out something like : Griffon + Infy + Enigma + Mages + Arach + Horizon’s + Mara + 2 x SoJ and Act 2 Prayer Merc with Insight + Cure + CoH.

= lose fcr frame & lose trap laying (ias) frame just to solve some mana issue I could probably fix with 2nd soj/frostburn or other minmaxing (even spending some points into energy) or getting better fcr ring with mana & light res
not worth it to self wield infi on sin I think

Stack-light res as much as you can.

You need some ias in your main hand claw (don't remember the exact number).

The rest of your sockets should be colossal jewel and either facets or resist jewels.

It's that straight forward.

Dual claws. 3trap or 2sin/40ias/3lightning sentry main hand. You can run plague or another trap claw off hand.

its not, its impossible to get gg claws and crescent moon is the way to play until u find gg claws, im gonna try with horazon boots and minmax to get some more mana 1st and then decide if its good enough, will post results after testing this out
