Looking for some build advice for non ladder.

I want to invest into one class properly, but I am not sure what the best all around option is right now.

I have a bit of everything geared, and I have at least 2 of every class around level 91+, but I still feel like I fall short, especially with Heralds of Terror on P8. I am not sure if the issue is my build, my gear, my skill setup, or how I am playing it.

Goal:
Terror Zone 97+ clearing
Ideally able to clear most acts
P8 capable if possible
Good for farming Heralds of Terror
Good overall MF character

I mostly see people spamming Tal Rasha Tombs and Chaos, so maybe I am missing something about which zones or builds are actually best.

Some of my current examples:

Hammerdin:
17k hammers
Max res

Warlock:
Tainted does around 18k to 21k
Using fire sunder
Blood Boil does around 4k to 6k

Poison Necro:
Poison Nova shows around 25k damage

Even with those numbers, I still do not feel as strong as I expected, especially in higher player count Terror Zones.

Can anyone recommend the best all around class/build to invest into for non ladder?

Also wondering how to properly build a Hork Barbarian. Is it mainly for Trav, or can it be built for Terror Zones and Herald farming too?

Is there a good hero builder or planner people use? MR does not seem to work great for what I am trying to figure out, unless I am just using it wrong.

Any advice on build, gear, merc setup, charms, breakpoints, and farming zones would be appreciated.

Hammerdin is still probably the most well balanced class overall. Good damage, great survivability, cheap to gear pretty well, and can handle Ubers with a couple cheap gear swaps

I’d agree. Also you can use a Shacko with Hammerman and doesn’t afraid of anything.

Got your cobra strike charges going? Cannot even remeber how many 99s ago I ripped on one.

Fade can get you to 50%dr and overcap res.
60% block from weapon block.

Use fade instead of bos

Hdin is the most convenient and versatile to use esp with cure merc. Requires no setup, can pause and check loot. You can also switch to Last wish or grief to kill immune p8 heralds which I assume youll have if ur doing ubers on pala.

Mosaic is best at bost killing but it's like playing Darius with Taurean texts ingame.

Hork barb is the best magic finding class for holy grail and gold finding but you want to play at most p3
