Just Curious what this adds to echo/hex purge build.

Just curious what benefit it adds putting points into the skill.

Just boosts the physical damage on your echoing strike. +5% per hard point.

It also increases the total number of echos from 1 to 5 at 20 hard points. More echos = more Purge explosions

4 extra for 5 total at 15 softpoints. Usually reachable with just 1 point.

Wait what? Did they change that this patch to soft points?

No idea if it was changed or not. First time I've done a 1 point demon machine mirror build.

Edit: or sorry i am only refering to Mirrored and not echoing.

I think you're talking about different things. The mirrored blades synergy for echoing strike gives extra echoes for hard points, but the mirrored blades provides the extra blades for itself with just soft points.

requires hard points into mirror blade to increase echoing strike
0 -> 1 echo
5 -> 2 echo
10 -> 3 echo
15 -> 4 echo
20 -> 5 echo

But yeah, the skill mirror blade itself only needs 15 soft points to reach 4 mirrored weapons
