The last season was unusually hyped. Now we are just back to normal. And normal for d2r are 3-day seasons.

For me, I like playing the game, but there isn't really a compelling reason to play this ladder vs. just playing the chars I built last ladder on NL.

This is EXACTLY how I feel haha

Im not into lvling. I only played ladder to feel how rotw is and experiment with zons and new stuff. Then the main motivation was to do chronicles.

I didnt know chronicles is account wide. Now I just enjoy p8 tz runs in nl to try to get chronicles. Might be able to respec my other pvp chars for the runs too for fun

i think so, i felt like the old LoD seasons were much longer. not really a fan of such a short ladder, to me i might as well just play NL and not care. 3 months feels too short for a D2 season imo. However, if you just care about rank hunting 99 3 month seems fine i guess.

I felt like ladder on 1.09 - 1.11 lasted a really long time but i might be remembering poorly


EDIT - on a side note, here are my thoughts on the new patch
-uber ancients just feels weird, nerfing warlock then buffing ancients so much you can barely kill it with a normal smiter lol just odd
-sunder, well i found all but cold in 2 days since the new patch
-shards are raining

they made everything easier except they buffed uber ancients after making statues easier to get. just seems weird considering i think the majority of people run it with smiter, warlock, or sin

i feel like they over balanced the new craf mats / sunder while turning the dial on the new uber portal too high

I'm just waiting for Dark Haven to go into testing. Guess it has a few that worked on diablo/diablo 2 on the team.

Anything is better than blizzard slop ATP.

Yeah the game is really fun esp. the bosses and crafting. No monke slam in d2.

Looks like a lot of us here are NL enjoyers.

By the way, you have the same name as my friend from a Korean MMO. I believe his name was KimGosu something. He was also one of the top players in that game. I even learned the phrase 수고하세요 from him lol. The rest was just me struggling to translate our conversations
