Hi, im playing Nova sorc this ladder, but I have a hard time surviving almost anything. First my setup, talents and stats:

Lore helmet
Crescent moon
Spirit shield
Viper
Magefist
Silkweave
Fcr ring and amu to reach 105fcr
Memory stick on switch

Stats: enough str for spirit and rest into energy

Skills:
Max Nova, static, light mastery, telekinesis and rest into energy shield (1pt in warmth and frozen armor)

I have like 200hp and 900 mana and my health bar just drops instantly with never having trouble with mana sustain (merc with insight who is never dying before me). I play p1 and dont tz (i cant survive). Lvl 81.

I have thoughts about dumping a little into vita to balance the build. Maybe getting aldurs boots. Other than that im lost the.

I wouldnt even try without 2500 mana and infinity self weild

You need cta, is not an option.

ES isnt affected by resistances, and you'd want 95% absorb (lvl 40 es)

People just cannot comprehend the idea of not using a spirit shield on every build

Even though i agree with you viper/cmoon/spirit can definitely work for a starting nova sorc without cta
I've done it several times last season

Op try to level a bit in some public games but you shouldn't have much trouble to run like keys / pit / cows
Don't do act boss just stick to place without high life mobs

Don't hesitate to over use static

Defintely doable, but becomes a B-C Tier instead of a S Tier build.

From my understanding, if you are running on a budget, blizz is better.

Yeah imo its better but I hate blizz skill
Always have to run away it has a shitty hitbox...

Nova is fun, harder but fun you can go straight close to packs with gg aoe

I am indeed running countless as a ladder starter. Before converting to energy shield I felt much more comfy with a vita build chugging pots.

Considering your inputs and might reroll. I find blizz repetitive though and I might consider trying hydra just for the heck of it with its limitations.

As for now I will continue being squishy and try my luck with the same strat 🤞
