Is Pit farming still considered the way to go these days, or are Terror Zones / Chaos generally more efficient now for unique completion?

I’ve seen mixed opinions:

some people still swear by Pit because of the easy lvl 85 farming and fast elite kills
others say Terror Zones and boss pack rotations completely outclass it now

Would really appreciate some updated advice on:

- strongest/most efficient builds for completing chronicle
- whether MF or clear speed matters more for Chronicle completion
- recommended amount of out-of-area players ingame (less nodrops vs clearspeed)
- and which areas feel best in the current meta
- generel helpful information on the grind / tips & tricks to complete it

Helpful information will be rewarded with a tip ❤️

Cheers

Tracking this topic! This could be a start to a great thread.

I'm no expert in ROTW, need some tips myself ;)

TZ andariel will be the fastest

For TZs, any TZ are fine which you can kill fast.

MF and clearspeed are equally important, only that mf has a diminishing return so if you have 150-200% thats fine.

Myself i like round around 250-300 mark and still be reasonably fast (this is really depends on characters, some of mine has 550-700 mf and some 150)

Imo fire warlock rotating between TZ chaos, TZ tombs for high density and TZ andariel + meph + diablo, flayers, halls. It's raining shards so they're dirt cheap, just keep sharding them at P7 and do good rotating TZs with high density (halls, flayer etc). With enigma, gheeds and new jewel, couple with mf scs, you're good to go. May choose to ignore heralds after getting those sunder chronicles, as they're current drop rate is bad and not efficient for chronicle.

This is decent information, sending 25FGs each

Would love to hear more Build-Recommendations for high denstity TZs - especially non-WL ones

Quite a bit tougher for non-warlock, sadly. It's a the same old builds - javazon, hammerdin, nova sorc, fire sorc. The first 2 have the better MF. Of the 4, fire sorc will be the best herald killer, nova the worst. Forget about necro and druid, I tested them and there's no chance for efficiency. Barb - only for horking. Of the lot, hammerdin has the highest upgrade of all the old builds, so I will choose this as the winner for doing all content, and nova sorc if you can accept skipping many heralds (which is more efficient btw) and low MF but much faster overall clear speed. Mosaic the clear winner for non ladder.

The best ultimate tip is to basically host TZ shard games and hope everyone identify all unique and sets (not afkers), since chronicle is shared. Happy hunting

it would be more effective to walk up and ask the heralds to politely put their loot on the ground and leave than try to kill them as a nova sorc

Kill lots of stuff fast. Bonus if it's in high level areas.
