I have doubts about this build. Could someone please answer my questions? I would appreciate it.

Should I go for Spirit Monarch or belt, gloves, and Trang's shield combo, even if that means not reaching 125 FCR. Or is there a third option?

Does reaching level 125 really matter?

Which aura merc? Is Infinity mandatory?

And what about skills? How should I distribute the points and why?

The gloves belt shield combo isn't as good as it sounds, plus the main damage in higher player count comes from corpse explosion, nova is just good for killing the weaker monsters so u can CA them.

I recommend 125fcr

Infinity merc

Buy some cheap eth insights to transmute them into iron golem so u don't have mana issues

Skill-wise:
max nova and it's synergies
only use amplify curse, don't bother with lower res curse
max corpse explosion.
1 point into all the summoning stuff if u like having some skeletons and revives around occasionally, mainly to prevent ur golem from being targeted too often so he doesn't die.
Rest in bone armor

build is trash on multi player until they address the bugged delay mechanic of poison nova. everything hit target being poisoned by pn will reset its calculation.

My understanding is CE doesn't scale with player count and that it's a p1 build

you can clear fine in p8. necros hit 99 all the time with psn nova -> amp + CE + infinity.

I love poison, don't get infinity though imo, not for poison. It's arguable for summoner, but you get very little value from a pnb necro.

singular most important item you need is death's web before anything else.

Nova is killing on p8,corpse explosion is garbage on higher player counts....taken muiltiple necros to 99 in d2r. on p8 you use 0 summons to max the psn nova dmg.
