If you think thats how it should be then diablo 2 isnt for you. You should have to grind a lot or pay high value to save a lot of time for such items (no matter if fg or ingame). Yall just need quick dopamine. Actually i blame the devs more than any of you, they are supposed to know what to do with the game instead of asking players how to ruin it

why should it be more rare than the 5+ hrs and 3-4 gheeds or griffons I’d find before finding each sunder lol,
its meant to make pvm’ing a little easier so why should it be more rare than enigma or infinity which make pvm’ing infinitely easier. its a sub par item meant to bridge the gap until people can find infinity or other gg items.

Not be the holy grail worth 10k fg when sunders you can convert from non-rotw for 50fg do almost the same thing lol

if anything they should have kept the old sunders common but they don’t even drop in rotw… and kept the latents rare. But that’d still significantly drop the value since most pvm’ers don’t need a latent one. PVP’ers are buying those making them expensive

yet again pvm’ers living off pvp’ers wallets 🤣

you (and others) care too much about finding items, especially wanting to chase low chance to drop items (basically gambling)

My opinion is
the fact you don't know what's the point in playing diablo 2 if you have the best gear (whether it be on day one through a hero editor or after some time finding) is kind of sad and shows you don't enjoy the killing stuff part and should just go to a casino and play on a slots machine

I don't care if nothing rare drops on the ground, because I play to see large groups of monsters drop down to the ground while teleporting around

If not drops you dont progress.

The objective way to play diablo2 is relative to your goal in the game. It's more of a hypothetical imperative. There is NO single correct way of playing this game. You can play 0 fg ssf barb and suffer as much as you want whenever you please. D2 is not a 'traditional mmo' where pvp and pvp rankings incentivize BIS absolute gg gear. You cant even look up other players gear in a game for comparison lol.

This isn't dota2 where you can say 'this game is not for you'. You can absolutely play so bad in dota because there is an objectively correct way of playing the game which is from an objective goal of destroying the enemy base. A 9k+ Immortal player's gameplay becomes fairly predictable at the fundamental level because efficient play converges around that shared objective.

There are items way more expensive and rarer than a sunder anyway. Nothing is stopping 'gamblers' or hardcore item chasers to chase for these nigh impossible finds e.g. Jeweler sacred targe of the colossus 60 life w/ perfect knight mod, Wraith Crack, 100% perfect gheed wager, 100% perfect diabolos / meph etc.I do think they are trying to satisfy these players by introducing insane ranges on the roll of new uniques. The next unique is likely going to appear in the game before any of these perf rolls are found.

You do realize how many variants sunders have right? You'd never get a perfect one even if it was as common as a pul rune.

/e

Some of us like items because they are useful, not valuable.

If not drops you dont progress.

You can complete the game without any gear, so you can progress with out anything dropping, although I don't think the rpg progression element of the game is the intended fun part

Because eventually you'll hit a wall, have everything in the game, then what?

I guess what I'm saying is it's about the journey and not the destination

I only make this point because I realised playing for drops is actually pointless

You can respond with whatever you want and we can leave it at that

with everything said and done enjoyment and fun is subjective so who am I to say

With out this need, what is the point of the game?

I mean you say yourself the game is pointless without loot drops so it's not my opinion

Nah dawg I don't care if they are rare or not, I'm happy with the game either way, doesn't effect my ability to enjoy it

I also don't need to do something in d2 with others for it to be fun

There is a mode specially made for people like you, its called single player. Or is that not an option because otherwise you couldnt trade anymore? Really weird coming from someone who accuses others of caring too much about making fg

But i guess lets ruin the game for everyone because the minority who prefers to play alone (you) cries for not getting their favourity toys. I wonder how this gsme survived for 25 years without sunders and now all of a sudden its a big problem lmao. But like i said, i blame the devs more than you. They are responsible and need to learn to dont give a fk about some complaints

You're just as cringe as you were 3 months ago.
No, actually, even more
