Everything this guy is saying applies to biblical angels too tho. Angels and demons in the bible seem to be not trans but entirely sexless.

Augustine goes further, he said demons lack all creative potential, meaning they can not appear as either male or female. Unlike what the guy in the video is saying, this is actually based on scripture, some of which the guy in the video alluded to and purposely misrepresented. Baal was represented by humans as male and Asherah was represented by humans as female. Idols were built and worshipped. They were false gods, there is no mention of them actually appearing in human form. Augustine’s view is that demons can only move existing things, they can not create anything, including vessels for them to inhabit.

If demons wanted to make humans like them, it would be by making us incapable of the lower level of creation that defines us—what Augustine called “fabrication”.

First of all, its not even historically save to say that Sodom and Gomorrha even existed. Also, although geological activity in these regions isnt out of the ordinary, a so-called heat event is hard to confirm.

Its not totally unreasonable that there is a true core to the story here that was mentioned in the bible one and a half millenia later, but I would also laugh if I heard a guy acting as if this was some sort of factual truth.

Bro, not even the area sodom should be located at is 100% confirmed. I am not denying that its very likely that a true context is behind this. The area is known for tectonic activity, but there is no confirmed Sodom.

citys turned to ash were the ancient historical documents said they were. i dont know how you expect 100%
