For make it viable the only runeword that help is the good old BotD +
armor with ias.
The lacks of Enigma makes the build looking good only to farm in open areas so frw also it will be important.
I understand that double grief is double grief but i want to try max range ww and being supah cool
If you want to “make viable” a 2-handed pvm barb, you still need enigma.
You’d better use a base like ghost spear, which requires 89ias instead of 174. Instead of using a shit load of suboptimal gear pieces on every slot, you’ll be able to use BiS gear and pump your dmg above what you can get when using WP.
But like I said already, for pvm, the longer your range, the worst it is.
Range is only good for pvp.
For pvm, it’s only making you spread your hits around many targets, allowing them more time to regen, reducing your ability to target and burst, keeping mobs alive longer and allowing them to escape. It’s a considerable effective dps malus. Feels horrible against high density and/or mobile mobs.
The only good option, if you want to play a pvm ww barb with a 2-hander botd, is colossus blade.
Swords are the only 2H option that reach 4 fpa instead of 5.
Rangeadder 2 is better than 4.
And CB has the same avg dmg as ghost spear or GPA.
HL + LoH should be the only ias gear you use.
You want enigma.
You want guillaume, and the socket is used for protector stone.
If you don’t care about all the above, then you don’t care about your build, so you shouldn’t ask for advice and do whatever the fuck you want and be happy slowly farming.
