I know most of this is for Photoshop type stuff... But Are there any 3D printers and CAD designers amongst us?

I'm almost 4 months into 3D printing and CAD design, it's fun, and I though there might be some of you in here too.. hah

I've already published a few simple 3D models on a popular site. I'm just throwing a line out, any makers out here?

All you graphics people should be jazzed about 3D printing right?

I've seen examples of people taking game sprites and turning them into 3d figurines...

They turn them into 3d "figures." - At least the ones from d2jsp.

Probably find more people into d2 and 3d printers on facebook.

Farce book is a total shitshow, too many trolls and paid "influencers"... I figure with JSP, I have better chances at finding real people doing real things... =)

<- 3D artist here, but never actually looked into 3D printing. All I've 3D printed is a sanding block for my guitar workshop.

Not at the moment, I got myself a 3d printer for Christmas last year.. I've done plenty of other peoples designs, and even some of my own.. I was just throwing out a line to see if anyone else on JSP was into it.. A lot of the popular prints are pretty much useless, I'm more into functionality... I need to get back to it...

Gotcha! It's interesting to me. I sculpt 3D characters and monsters mainly. But the scaling in 3D printing is very different to me.

What functional stuff are you printing? Just curious
