Abyss warlock is equally powerful as before, possibly more. Miasma bolt doesn't kill as fast but the chains being spammable is huge. Getting 2 minute full chaos clears p8. Abyss radius feels the same as before.

I still have my heph bound with just 1 hard pt in bind demon and demon mastery. Can someone confirm that if i summon a goatman to consume, heph will be killed even though it says I can summon up to 2 demons in my skill tree?

Hover over your demon mastery it will tell you how many demons you can summon. IF it says 1 then you will lose heph if you summon goatman

With soft points, it actually says 2 right now but I read you need 5 hard points in patch notes in demon mastery to have 2, so I am not sure.
Silly me. I actually have 6 hard points in demon mastery. So I think I am safe.

Instead of fixing it they decided to disable the build.

Kinda crazy but hey its blizz

They might as well. This patch is catered for the instant gratification crowd and serotonin syndrome ppl tired of killing "100's" (lies, actually 10 T1s) heralds or failing to proc ire in a dense area (take a hint and leave it). Screenblast patch.

I don't really notice any difference in blood boil gameplay except vs heralds. To me, that means that the range feels the same, as does the damage.

I do think I feel the blood oath changes, because there were times I took damage and my demon did too, which is new.

I'm not changing my build at this time, I even feel like I was clearing density faster this patch than I was before, but I don't know what would have caused that.

Well, that does help. But it doesn't actually go to 100%, because of how probability works.
It's technically 64.2% chance.
(If you look up the odds of rolling a 1, when rolling a 20-sided dice 20 times, it's 64.2%).

1. Chance of NOT rolling a 1 in a single throw: 19/20 (or (0.95))
2. Chance of NOT rolling a 1 in 20 throws: (0.95^{20})
3. The Result: (0.95^{20} approx 0.358)
4. 100 - 35.8 = 64.2

What’s the odds of me taking 50 reroll to make a 35 spirit in my 45res ST

Because each roll is independent, you multiply the probability of success for each individual trial. With 11 possible rolls, the probability of not rolling a specific value 49 times in a row and then rolling that specific value is as follows:

P(49 non-35's then a 35) = q x p
P = (10/11) x (1/11)
P = 0.00768 (or 0.768%)

100 / 0.768 = 130.2

So, odds of it taking 50 attempts to roll 35fcr is approx 1 in 130.2 chance.
Note that the above calculation differs from the previous (including the x 1/11) because the question states the 50th attempt DID roll a 35 exactly.
Whereas if we were only calculating the odds of NOT rolling 35fcr 49 times in a row we'd have:

P(49 non-35's) = q
P = (10/11)
P = 0.084475 (or 8.4475%)

100 / 8.4475 = 11.838

So, if we're not gauranteeing the 50th roll IS a 35, and only calculating the odds of not getting 35 49 times in a row, we're looking at approx 1 in 11.8 chance.

Essentially, if we assume were missing the 35fcr 49 times in a row, we'd need to do that 11 times to probabalistically hit exactly 35fcr on the next roll.
Food for thought ;)
