Hygiene doesn’t really apply, service dogs are allowed anyway so that’s not the reason + look at all the obese sweaty people who fly, people riddled in acne, sick people go on flights constantly, gross ass babies with snot noses fly all the time. Think about all the elderly who shit themselves on planes. And how hard would it be to bring a blanket for the dog to lay down on? It’s not like they screen each passenger for cleanliness before they get on the plane.
