i dont think anyone is cornering him at all. the more he attempts to rationalize his position the further away he is from humanity. the day of reckoning will come, people cant live in a psychosis forever

Agreed, LLMs are not good, but its the story of human history that people use the worst source of information for the breadth of their information gathering. we used to go to a shaman to ask him why it hasn't rained, and he'd say its been too long since we sacrificed a newborn. we havent come that far since then on average. that's perhaps the most interesting thing about humans compared to most other animals, only a few have real intelligence, and most are complete idiots. im not sure if that's how we evolved on purpose, because a society works better with many chattel and few leaders. or if its just a happenstance genetic lottery. but id honestly be pretty terrified if we lived in the inverse with most people having a high IQ and only a few having low IQs.

It's an often asked question what distinguishes humans from animals. My answer would be: "the cross-generational accululation of knowledge". It is this long-term accumulation of knowledge which allows humanity to progress based on the efforts and ideas of a few brilliant individuals.

So my answer would be that human society doesn't necessarily work better with many chattel and few leaders, it just has the ability to make scientific/technological/societal progress in spite of that.

no, its actually not at all. he and maybe one or two other posters in this sub regularly use chatgpt to reply and he is guilty of it 90% of the time

he cannot defend his position without using AI

to be fair now, english is not his, or many of our, first language, and, broadly, it is a tool, just like any other. I see no issue whatsoever in using chatgpt to better get a point across. the use of, or lack of use of, chatgpt is not in my opinion, an issue, in debates or conversation. Take the graphics sub forum on this site, there are users there that refuse to accept AI created images, for their own world view, a bit like how people refused to wear seat belts when they first came out, or how some ppl refuse to fly. AI is a fantastic AID/TOOL for alot of actions and if it helps users, any users, to help them when debating, i am all for it. provided they have the background knowledge of the subject material to counter arguments made, and to identify when the AI tool is in fact, not correct, or at times to simply raise your hand when you post something without carefully looking at what the AI provided.

I am all for chatgpt etc. its the future. Understand as well that there are language and cultural barriers in debates and an AI tool is a safer option to provide a more grounded and neutral position (provided you use the tool correctly).

A bombshell investigative report by The Wall Street Journal has just exposed what might be one of the biggest international geopolitical scandals of the decade.
According to evidence and audio recordings recently handed over to the FBI, Qatari officials allegedly operated behind the scenes to influence the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its Chief Prosecutor, Karim Khan.
📌 The Core Findings:
"The Deal": Qatari operatives allegedly promised Khan they would "look after him" and "wrap their arms around him" if he moved forward with arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
The Leverage: Audio recordings reveal that Khan reportedly wanted to issue the warrants but was "scared to death" of the political blowback. Qatar stepped in to offer a state-backed financial and political safety net.
The Cover-Up: The Qatari intelligence operation didn't just stop at influence. It allegedly worked to aggressively suppress and discredit a sexual harassment complaint made by an ICC staffer against Karim Khan. Operatives attempted to smear the victim by falsely linking her to Israeli intelligence, framing her legitimate complaint as an "Israeli conspiracy."
📉 The Fallout
While Qatar denies the allegations and Khan has maintained his innocence, the damage is done. Khan has since stepped aside on administrative leave while an official UN-backed investigation takes place.
This isn't just about regional politics it’s a devastating blow to the perceived neutrality and integrity of global legal institutions. When international courts become playgrounds for state-sponsored bribes and intelligence ops, global justice is the first casualty.

Sitting on the fence, there is simply no merit to this story. The facts are:

(a) Hamas carried out a terrorist attack.
(b) Israel by any measure, carried out collective punishment on the citizens of Gaza, and there is ample evidence to support this.
(c) Whether the ICC was Influenced (undoubtedly) bribed (possibly) blackmailed (possibly) or not is not relevant to (b). i.e. Israel still carried out collective punishment, still bombarded Gaza, and still bombed Iran in recent months (last years bombings can be considered a retaliatory measure).

Massive explosion in Beit Shemesh area was coordinated test with defense company, officials say
A powerful explosion was heard in the Beit Shemesh area on Saturday, causing panic and a wave of rumors.

Many residents, alarmed by the loud blasts, initially believed it was a security incident or a military drill. However, a security official later clarified that the blast had been a controlled explosion at a private factory, as part of a planned test by the government defense company Tomer.

The company, which operates security facilities and testing areas in the Beit Shemesh area, specializes, among other things, in the development and testing of rocket engines for major defense and attack missiles, including Arrow missiles, air defense missiles, and artillery rockets.

IDF is saying it was a 'test' but this was initiated by Iran 100%. goodbye surface to air missiles

You are so funny.
What if, god forbid, the story was bulls*t ?
When the courts are against Israel =quote celebration here
When the courts are in favour of the Israeli narrative = a system, controlled by the Jews.
The trial hasn’t started yet but you already know the narrative. disgusting.
