Hi!

I bought a pack which contains perfect tal armor with 10/9 uber jewel. I am bored with my light soso, I will make a cold soso.
I have 2 different builds in mind, but i may try cold soso with full tal set first.
Is that weak? has anyone tried that?
other eq then tal? what about head hunter shield with 3 rbf? what to soc into tal helm and orb? ptopaz + ist is OK, nn rbf?
planning to make act 5 merc with plague and another sword 2x plague is not needed, yes?

BiS Blizz Sorc items . Death Fathom with the new jewel
swap : cta + spirit

Helm : Nightwing with facet
Gloves : trang
boots Sandstorm

Storch / anni / cold lifer skillers
life / resist / fhr sc

Coh / cure / insight merc

Tal cold sorc comparable to es warlock

Full tal sorc is a little weaker than shako/deaths fathom/vmagi but still ok. You will have good MF, resists, and good life. You will have worse BO and worse damage.

15% cold damage from set + chest helm wep jewels will probably be about 8k blizz instead of 10k but still good and you can do p8

You’ll have about 50 cold res on immunes and -100 on non immunes so you’ll do 16k blizz on non immunes and 4k on immunes

You can wear any boot you want, and when you do p8 t5 heralds you can use marrow walks to bone prison stuff and blizz it down safely.

Probably the best cheap budget build in the game
35 fcr spirit to hit 105 fcr bp
Definitely want facets in every slot

Pretty close but prefer shako over nightwings it’s not too much damage loss but gain a lot of good stuff
You hit 105 fcr without arachs and snowclash is a little more damage and cold absorb
You can use any boot you want at any time and bone prison marrow walk is op for heralds
You don’t even need a 2/20 a maras is fine

i muled items to the soso. i am not sure i will use/buy rbfs first.

my main plan with using this tal armor:
NW, DF (20 fcr), mage (20 fcr), arach (20 fcr), opal (10 fcr), spirit (35 fcr), mara, silkwave, dwarf

Why use Tal armor? The 3 piece Tal set (armor/belt/ammy) or the Full set is ok, but what is the reasoning behind using just the armor?

Enigma or Vipermagi > Tal armor
