A bit off topic: Do you have a link for damage calculation? Particularly as it relates to: minus enemy lite resistance vs + Lite damage. I've always heard that - ELR is much superior. I got a low roll -6 ELR sunder and curious how it compares to say a perfect +15% Lite dmg. Basically, with the addition of Sunder charms, do the calculations become as simple as: EX: -2ELR = +5 Lite Dmg?
Really not as simple as such a linear formula.
Although small amounts of -ELR easily outweighs huge amount of +light%
And -ELR is mostly effective against immunes, which is what is slowing your clear speed.
In some situations, you could effectively obtain more dmg from +light%, but only against targets you already melt.
+light% isn’t much, cuz it’s added on top of your already high light mastery %. It’s not multiplicative, it’s additive.
If you go from +450% to +465%?
465/450=1.0333x more (3.33%)
On the other hand, your dmg increase from -ELR is much more effective.
Say you bring your target from 0res to -10, you gained the equivalent of 110/100=1.1x your dmg (10% more)
From -50res to -60?
160/150=1.0667x (or an effective 6.67% dmg increase)
From 95res to 85?
15/5=3x (300% increase!)
And +% does not affect static… -ELR does.
This is not exactly what you are looking for, but it could be an interesting read for you:
