Plenty of people that pvp, especially melee, has 99s

I have a 99 Barb and 99 Pally.

It was probably easier when tzs were 1 hr long, you can baal, chaos, or tombs for the full hour.

i have 25 99s on my main account

Yes melee pvp players aim for lvl 99s as much as they can, but there’s limited amount of people melee pvping, I’m guessing majority players still don’t have 1 lvl 99s.

Yeah original D2 I had a lvl 97 litening Sorc back in 2006. Quit for lost my char.
Currently same Sorc is lvl 95 lol might go for some lvling this weekend just Mfing. Gotta throw away all the junks make room in stash for good mf loots.

I think it's fairly common to have at least a lvl99 for each class now
