Tommy and I at our cores are very similar. We hate the government.
For many reasons I don't think Tommy is half the scum that we see daily in our country, he's just found a flaw in the system and is abusing it. Props to him, we have hundreds of thousands if not millions doing it/relying on it in our country

I’ve only ever used government assistance during covid, cause everything in my small Alaskan town of 1,000 people was quite literally shut down, aside from the grocery store and post office, none of which were hiring 😅

He hates the government for coinlicking, but is willing to steal from the government that is funded by the tax payers so he doesn't have to work when he can. So he doesn't care that he is stealing from his neighbors.
