PUEBLO, Colo. — Tina Peters was released from state prison in Pueblo early Monday morning, weeks after Colorado Gov. Jared Polis commuted the former Mesa County clerk's sentence. The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) confirmed that Peters was processed for release on Monday.
