i mean its not just the size what if i copy somebody else and make it bigger, that makes it allowed ? that doesn't make sense.
that means i can just copy someone else avatar freely and make it bigger by few pixels. so what if he copied yours and made it bigger lol
i cut it myself and edited the frames idk where he got the exact same as mine like the gif stops at the same time and starts the same frame it is the exact copy
clearly the exact same number of frames
Hey!
Check the first bolded bullet point here:
https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=107530477&f=105&p=681054126- Resources offered over the internet, and thus, made public for everyone to use, have no labelled ownership.
Because this is a publicly accessible .gif image found easily online and made presumably by Diablo creators there is no technical ripping here.
It would be a very different story if you had created the image completely on your own, but just because it is cropped/sized similarly to the other user does not equate to the avatar being ripped.
I can also confirm, as
pointed out, that they are not equivalent in size or amount of frames - see below:
25 frames at 0.12 seconds per frame:
50 frames at 0.06 seconds per frame:
In other words, these are two renditions of the same publicly accessible .gif images.
Hope that helps explain it a little better, feel free to post back here if you have any additional questions and we will help when free!
Cheers
