Nah, last one was maaany months ago ^^ Haven't done anything to warrant it now. The asteroid thread got shut down though, no idea why. Certainly not more off topic than 90% of all other posts in general chat. But i don't care anyway. Just a fun thing i posted, for fun, which is the main point in gc for me. Just humor, and sometimes interesting intelligent discussions. Which it has always been. I don't know how someone can take it differently, but that's how the world is .. like popcorn sutton says ^^ when asked "why do you think anyone would ever turn you in for makin likker?" .. "Well you know how the world is .. someone see you makin a dollar and they don't get half of it .. makes'em greedier as hell, i recon".. but just as a natural human thing i guess, if you even oppose them, after they bully you, expecting you to subdue to them, that's enough for some people to set heaven and hell in motion to get at you. And they will. I can imagine popcorn had to deal with criminals in his business, paying them off, that's what he meant. That is what the government should be working on.
More to the point of popcorn: I think it was wrong to judge him to prison.. i think they should rather have told him to keep it small. He already was probably quite wealthy, money was not the deal for him, it was the lifestyle. They could tell him to keep the production small, to rather focus on quality than quantity. That would actually be good, good for tourism, for spreading knowledge about a culture. Furthermore he could be allowed to make and sell products, like the medicine he talks about, that is knowledge of the past that many still can get use of.
It's about the quality. I'm all about that. He did not deserve prison.
Even still it doesn't bother me ^^ Because the spirit is eternal and some things in this world and life, cannot be touched by evil. And i live to nurture the good. Evil burns itself out anyway, eventually.[/B][/CENTER][/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE]
