Is It against the TOS using a mouse macro to gamble a low level unique item?

Yesterday I spent 2 hours doing the same clicks to try to get Pelta lunata, and wanted to know if it would be ok to just macro It to do the same job.

The Blizzard stance is

So I Guess it IS bannable, but since many of you have uncles at Blizzard can clarify It for me 100%

Judging my by many years studying blizzard terms of service and bannable offenses, I’d have to say that

Get into autohotkey. This is straightforward to do in that language. In practice, Blizzard doesn't ban on d2r for macros of any kind, at all. It's different if you're reading or injecting memory like for a maphack or bot.

There are also straightforward ways to skip the "buy for xxx gold?" dialogue and insta-buy with 1 click, and is again in practice not a bannable offense. People have been doing this for many many seasons with no ban. Kano uses this to buy pots quickly in his speedruns. Every top speed runner uses macros for making chars, you can see it on their screens.

my /nopickup macro hasn't gotten me banned so far

hey this is very false

do not automate anything, especially with a well known automation software

'safest' macros you can use would be like a turbo button or small accessibility type macros.

just use hero editor, lol gotta love the people who want to cheat but still play online with others....
