D2 is way to small of a niche to stay in long term. People make workout videos or talk about dating and get millions of views. When you make d2 content the ceiling is really low. It makes sense that he would move on to other games to expand his subscriber base. He has saturated YouTube with d2 content and the juice ain’t worth the squeeze. Doesn’t make sense to be a d2 content creator forever. Kids make Minecraft videos and easily surpass the subscriber limits you ll get from making d2 content. The d2 market is just way too small. The audience is a bunch of fat balding aging men who are borderline divorced and or strayed fathers endlessly swiping on dating apps hoping to steal someone else’s x wife. Llamasc made the right move to move on from d2

I would say that scammers (read -> prisoners) in 'why i'm locked' section (prison) is also similar.

In such regimes, prisoners have very long sentences, and if you check 'why I'm locked' section, it takes a VERY long time to get unlocked.

I can't say that part bothers me tho

He went from stable 15-50k views on his d2 videos to not even 1000 views per ff video.

Trust me it was worth the squeeze for him, he just follows his emotions instead of thinking like a business man.

Once the algorithm readjusts where to point his videos the views and subscribers will shoot up. He’s in an algorithm transition which is temporary.

Yes and no, he picked a game that isnt that popular and doesnt get that many views. The only thing hes got going for him is that it might hit some of his target audience like you already mentioned.

Regardless, he is making the right move. D2 content is such a small niche you cannot stay in it forever and expect growth. Dude would have more subs and money if he made random road blocks or fort night videos.
