is there any way to still log into the game with a user name account? never had a jagex account or email and dont want to switch

arent the launcher and game, separate login's?

not sure the launcher just tells me to log into an account

i think maybe try making one and see if it asks. worth a shot.

It's email based now, they have phased out username sign in.

im not sure what you mean by this, I already have a maxed rs3 account from back in the day when they get switched over its just user name based and still works on osrs.



is this confirmed because i can 100 percent log into osrs with my user name log in still

For the Jagex launcher itself, email is required.
After you get logged into and try to launch either runescape or runelight there might still be an option or button for sign in with username via the program after it's launched, but here is the source as requested.

Like EUFI said, it is being phased out. I'm sure eventually they will try to completely migrate everything into one login system.

What is your reason for not wanting to create a Jagex account?

Im not sure for rs3 I cant find any option that says log in with user name but I can on osrs with mobile atleast im not sure about on pc I havent played on pc in ages.

That's because you're are logging directly into the application itself (rs3) and not the jagex launcher to launch rs3

I recommend reaching out to Jagex support for further inquiries regarding this, as they would be able to assist you best
