Certain passages are allegorical/mythical but not the whole of scripture. It is a combination of both. Duality exists in all scripture like this. Jerusalem is still a real place remember.
I think you haven't read much scripture or your queries on these topics wouldn't exist. I'll explain a bit further in hopes it helps you understand.

Like you are talking about the floods and dinosaurs in your comments as talking points right?

With the floods there is physical evidence to back this up. Scientific evidence. For example the sea shells in Coober Pedy in the middle of Australia. Or inland seas like lake Eyre there too. Flood are not a good example of myths as I mentioned before it is present in Egyptian scripture aswell as Christian and science. The ark fitting all species on the planet is a good example of allegorical use but not the floods themselves.

And you talk about dinosaurs too in science. In scripture there are phrases that talk about these animals too.

"In olden times, there were spawned great monsters and beasts in
fearful form, with frightful gnashing teeth and long ripping claws; an
elephant was but a rat in comparison with them."

" There were butterflies like birds and spiders as large as the outstretched arms of a man."

You could take these phrases as mythological too but there is evidence to back these claims up with certain species too. That's why you need both science and religion to understand.

The resurrection of Christ yes this is allegorical at times. But the solstice is not. You need to combine astrology with scripture to understand this meaning. For example comas. The word coma crosses over into astrology aswell as medical science. So does the word 'Sun' and 'Son'. Piece this together you will have your understandings on how to draw a conclusion on that topic. A coma is real in science but not in scripture? Think again.

I think the problem is you may not have actually read much scripture...if you did you would recognize these parallels and not be trying to offend those who do.
For another example you may use the word 'universe' in science and think that is ok. But when someone uses the word 'God' to represent the same understanding you don't seem to get it. Be careful not to contradict like this.

addone makes more sense if you adopt the idea he is just about trolling

If you are struggling to keep up ask grok or chat gpt to explain it to you. Here maybe you can understand this.

nope i dont understand any of your memes, but thats probably the point of them.

lets have more fun with the center of the universe
something i found from wikipedia
Centre of the Universe
The concept of the center of the universe is a historical one, rooted in various cosmological models. In ancient times, different cultures and religions proposed different centers, such as the axis mundi or omphalos. However, modern cosmological theories, based on the Copernican principle and the Big Bang theory, suggest that the universe has no distinct spatial center. Instead, the universe is expanding from a shared central point in time, meaning that the center of the universe is everywhere. This understanding challenges our intuitive notions of space and time, as the universe is not static but dynamic and evolving.

Science hasn't proven anything as far as that goes.
Only about 30% of Christians attend church anyway...the bulk of them have nothing to do with the church like myself.
I could say the same thing about NASA too like you are with the church though. They have a budget of what 25 billion? Be careful not to contradict yourself here.

What hasn't science proven? Also you cannot blame science for not giving you all the answers on a silver platter then fill up all the life's mysteries with a magical explanations from bronze age people.
Whats wrong with saying "we don't know everything about the universe". We already uncovered many mysteries we wouldn't even dream about uncovering even 100 years ago.

What does church attendance and NASA budget have to do with anything?
If you have proof for your god or the magical things in the bible please share them. If there are no miracles/magic then I have no reason to disagree or debate at that point.

When you say science has proven earth isn't the center of the universe.
That is merely a bold assumption.

What answers on a silver platter? What do you mean? I haven't mentioned any magical explanations here in regards to anything like that. Maybe you are talking to other people aswell as me and getting it confused?

In regards to NASA they can fund raise billions of dollars to push their world theories but the church can't? I don't see why you bash one and not the other too?

And it appears you relate to science more but you are quick to say words like 'universe'. But if people use the word 'God' instead of 'universe' you bash them? Like I said before you are hypocritical.

You need to realize that both science and religion do the same thing. They are in duality with one another. They work hand in hand. Both have mythological aspects to them. Like aliens. You are quick to bash religious folk for using terms like talking snakes but what about when science uses terms like aliens hey? Is that not mythological nonsense to you aswell?

Well you have no way of knowing he wrote on the bathroom wall yet unless you believe the evidence.
Revelation 3:12

Why don't you believe that jesus was in the bathroom? Do you imagine he only does his business in the forrest? Its evidence and you are dismissing it, shame on you.

Revelation 3:12
[12] For the one who is victorious, I will make you to be a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, permanently secure. I will write on you the name of my God and the name of the city of my God—the New Jerusalem, descending from my God out of heaven. And I’ll write my own name on you.

If you remain faithful, you’ll have a permanent, secure place with God and a new identity that belongs to Him. This verse does not talk about Jesus going to a bathroom and writing on the wall with a sharpie...

“I will write on you the name of my God…” = You belong to God.
“The name of the city… New Jerusalem” = You are a citizen of God’s eternal kingdom, not just this world.
“And I’ll write my own name on you” = a deep, personal connection with Jesus.

Stop trolling.

If you find some scribbles with a sharpie on a wall of a public bathroom saying "jesus was here" does that need examination? If you dismiss hearsay then you are dismissing history  Hearsay is unreliable especially when magic/miracles and planet altering events are claimed. You would be a fool to believe these things happened on anonymous or secondhand rumors. Hearsay alone is not sufficient there needs to be substantial amount of it complimentary to the claim. If hearsay claimmed Julius Caeser had a cat then I wouldn't really question it too much. If hearsay claimed Julius Caesar had a magical cat that could transform into a tiger I would be extremely skeptical.

Tacitus and Josephus are second hand accounts at best that have no way of corroborating actual events that may or may not have transpired. Secondly they don't even attempt to prove a flying pig they merely allude that a pig existed.
When will you get it that no one is interested in that christian cult existed or even a regular guy named jesus "christus" existing. All you are doing is pointing to evidence of a pig but showing no evidence to a pig having magical ability to fly.

The letters of Paul and Gospels are literally books that make up the bible essentially you are quoting the bible to prove the bible. Christians claiming their god is real based on the book they wrote will never not be funny.
Whats interesting to note here is the Gospels are written anonymously many decades/centuries after the events supposedly happened. They were accounts of unverified authors writing about what they thought the people who supposedly seen and witnessed jesus. Thats like saying I have a friend that has a cousin who works in CIA who heard a rumor that pigs could fly. This is even firsthand hearsay its second or third.

Other than quoting me non independent secondhand rumors what other evidence or proof do you have of resurrection. (When I say resurrection i don't mean show me the pig I am only interested in the "flying"part

You’re still collapsing everything into ‘hearsay vs lab proof,’ which isn’t how history works. Not all testimony is equal—historians evaluate multiple early sources, consistency, proximity to events, and context.

For Jesus Christ, we have early, independent traditions (like those preserved by Paul the Apostle within decades of the events), multiple Gospel accounts, and confirmation from non-Christians like Tacitus that Jesus was executed and that the movement began early. That’s not ‘bathroom graffiti’—that’s exactly the kind of data ancient history uses.

You’re right about one thing: I don’t have lab proof of the resurrection. But that standard would rule out most one-time events in ancient history.

So the real question is: what best explains the early and consistent claims that people believed they encountered the risen Jesus?

You don’t have to accept the resurrection—but dismissing all historical testimony as ‘hearsay’ isn’t an argument, it’s just refusing to engage the evidence.

Don't tell me you still believe earth is the center of the earth.... even chrianity have admitted this..it is not an assumption its a fact

Nasa delivers, they put people on the moon including numerous inventions that you use daily without realizing it. What has religion delivered?
Universe is just a name for space-time, matter, energy and all the galaxies.
Christian "god" is a name for a creator who is distinct and separate entity from his supposed creation namely the universe and everything in it. Christianity isn't pantheism and the fact you didn't know this tells me you are just some part time christian ill equipped to be having these kinds of debates.

Universe is an evident reality that anyone can observe, measure and interact with.

"God" is an invisible, inaudible, unmeasurable, uninteractablle entity that has no demonstrable proof to confirm he exists. In other words he is only in your imagination

Science and religion are not duality and they don't work hand in hand. Science observes and tests its hypothesis and comes up with theories when the studies are done. Because it is always open to change. When science is talking about aliens it has physical evidence to back it up. Btw the correct term is unidentified flying objects.
Religion makes claims and doesn't change them. Its a closed loop system, all it does is looks for anything that will confirm its bias and rejects/ignores when it doesn't. In other words it only looks at things how they imagine them to be as opposed of how they really are.
