Hard to win when you don't have teammates playing well. 😏
But Jokic needs to be held accountable for almost all of their losses too. Terrible defensively, and was so bad in games 2, 3, and 4 offensively.
They're calling Jokic the Aaron Gordon merchant now. He's 17-19 in his playoff career without Gordon playing. He covers up his defensive deficiencies.
In the west it is hard to win with bum teammates. East has been a cakewalk for most of the last 25 years.
Every successful playoff team has a player or players that cover up their best player's weaknesses. I do think AG is the most important player for Jokic to have on the court, that's why I stopped betting on nuggets. Peyton Watson is also a stud. Should have just benched Braun and played Pickett but they were not coming out of the west with these injuries.
