15 USD per Gallon in Hong Kong.
People are complaining but not to the point of overthrowing the government.

We are used to 12.50 to 14 USD per Gallon. Not yet skipping meals.

Around 9 USD per Gallon in Singapore.
No one complaining too much..

5 USD Per Gallon in China
But there are government subsidies so maybe around 4 to 4.5 Per Gallon.

Other countries not sure.

We also have Public Transport which most people use. But you will be surprised at the amount of cars in the streets.
Then again I can understand why public Transport in the USA is pathetic.
No upgrades for ages and dirty as fxxk.

There are two things that I see as to why people will shun public transport.

1. Sanitation
2. Safety and security. (Nobody wants to end up like the Ukrainian girl who got stabbed in the neck for no reason)

Furthermore lobbies by car makers probably bribed the government not to improve the public transport so people will buy cars which will benefit automakers and Oil and Gas companies.
Canada's public transport used to be great... I don't know what happen.
