You are correct, this is a 1937 BMW R5, if I did own it- I would probably have it in my living room and never really ride it. I do have a 2023 BMW 1250 GS though!

I want that! I want that! I want that!
A keyboardist who had been working with my guitar teacher in those much, much, and much younger years of life invited me over to their home/farm which was in Québec, yet right on the border with the US. They had in their barn a similar style but a BSA. It had been abandoned for about twenty to twenty-five years. Covered in straw, dust, mouse poop, and who knows what else. They wanted me to have it as a kind of first rebuild project. I wanted it so bad, but my little Honda Civic could not fit it into its hatchback. Towing it at the distance that we were to my town would have required a bank loan. I had to say an 'I am sorry' first to the bike then to the friend that I could not accept their gift. I hope someone did get it and rebuilt it to its proper form. Life can be cruel!

Hah! That would be nice. Been dreaming about spending time on a lengthy road trip. One day. :hail:
BTW! The front of your bike looks like it could travel through time and space! Super sci-fi lookin'.
