So a few years ago I was in Atlanta for this dumb work thing. One night I’m walking through Buckhead and I see Future and Drake just chilling outside some spot
I don’t know what got into me but I walked straight up to them and said, “Y’all some cornballs, bruh.”
Future gave me this blank stare. Drake looked surprised for a second then started laughing. Future started laughing too with that raspy voice and was like, “Who the fuck is this dude?”
Next thing I know they actually told me to come ride with them.
We hopped in their Sprinter and I ended up sipping these nasty mystery drinks that tasted like cough syrup and rocket fuel. Future was in the back freestyling the craziest demonic verses ever. Drake was venting to me about some girl like I was his therapist. At like 4 a.m. we were in a Waffle House and Future was drawing pentagrams in syrup on his hashbrowns while him and Drake argued about emotional intelligence.
I went from calling them cornballs to their face to just chilling with them like it was normal. Turns out they’re actually pretty cool people once you get past the weird alien vibes and Drake’s sad Canadian energy.
