Yes! Another TDK pick

Wait, it was you who reminded me about that series years ago! Hah! Funny how things like that happen. I love all of the actors. Even the antagonists are ferocious. Let's not forget the priceless donut layouts!

As like with David Lynch films and other directors that I love, every few years, I feel a need to watch as many as I can.

I'm like that with Coen brothers' movies, lots of good adventures from those guys

Humm, things always change a bit, but so far:

1) Fear and loathing in Las Vegas (preferably drunk, if you drink or whatever you do). This takes your imagination for a ride, and that's what you want in a movie. I've yet to find anything close to it. Seen it between 50 and 100 times probably.
2) They call him bulldozer. Such genuine acting with a clear motive and message, to get boys to act like real men with overwhelming odds.
3) Silence of the lambs - Mostly because i saw it when i was about 12 and got scared to hell. But the acting is really brilliant. Psychological horror movie.
4) The sting. Actually introduced to me by my mother when i was very young. And while the acting is quite mechanical, it is very classic, with the most iconic poker scene of all time. It's a brilliant movie. The americans can do it when they put their minds to it. Thought it's few and far between, lol.
5) Scarface (preferably while drinking and/or whatever you do). When you're in the groove, drinking whisky, rum or whatever, cigar smoke, and whatever else ^^ this is the movie to put on. Takes the evening over the top when you need a break from the super loud hard rock and need a movie to take you to the next level. It can be seen on it's own as well of course.

I mean i may have forgotten some. Honorable mention: Astérix & Obélix contra César; Should be seen with french voice and english subtitle. It's a damn funny movie ^^ france's most expensive as far as i recall.

Another honoerable mention: Leon the professional. Also should be seen while drinking or whatever. It is not very realistic, but still good acting, music and directing. Not even a 9/10, 7/10 tops. But still worth watching.

9of10 score:

Matrix
Sisu
Prey
Apocalypto

the great wall 85/100

This weeks download: Tron Ares

Checked the list, cool list. Strong disagree on matrix and prey, but that's okay. Gonna see Sisu, i remember it coming out and found it interesting, but cannot stand axel hennie ... but still, gonna give it a chance now. 9 out of 10 is high. Sets my expectations high ^^
