I think it's brilliant while it works - but will probably result in a log jam in the future. Like most risks, going on 4th down looks really smart while it's working..
Spending an extra 100m-150m a year and spreading the cap hit out works great but doesn't allow much flexibility in the future. That's what I forsee with the Eagles is a situation where they need to maneuver and are painted into a corner. Maybe Howie can steer the ship through the icebergs? We'll see, you're having a good run in the meantime
