death fathom for non immunes, doom for immunes, but a -10 jewel and -10 sunder makes death fathom closer to doom for immunes. I'd go death fathom these days probably.

So adding to this debate... my whole plan was to go Doom -60, Viper Magi, & 2 sorc 20 FCR 2 Soc circ, or a 3 cold 20 fcr circ with two sockets... but if you get the 20 FCR from DF... you really dont need a circ.

Again, main goal here is for a FO / ES sorc.

So at the end of the day:

Option #1

Helm : Circ (3 cold 20 FCR 2 soc) or Circ (2 Sorc, 20 FCR, 2 Soc)
Weapon: -60 Doom
Armor - Viper

Option #2

Helm - NW
Weapon - DF
Armor - Viper

orb isn’t good

In this world I would need 20FCR Fathom, 35 FCR Spirit, 20 FCR Spider, 20 FCR Trangs and a 10 FCR ammy.

Giving up the gloves spot from frostburns to trangs will kill my mana. Yes I am putting less points in str. but I wonder if enigma would yeild the highest mana at the end.

So are you on Doom or DF for a PVM / PVP hybrid.

Since frozen orb is on cool down you could consider 63 fcr BP, it would only really effect your tele/static

I mean frozen orb is not good (at least not on its own)

magic orbs are a pvp item, mostly used in svs duels and are very expensive (50k+ fg) for them to be worth using over df (2os, 5-6 blizz, 5-6 cm, fcr base)

doom is bis pvm on blizz/orb hybrid, and can be used in some cases pvp on a blizz sorc vs bm/stacked res opponents

df is ok pvp and pvm
