Exactly.. there was a brand here in norway called sombreros i think, they were thick, cheesy n super coated. Nowadays there is another brand, don't remember name, they're thin, barely coated n taste foul. Just like the crisps back in the day too, were fatty n really coated, there was dill, another with cheese n onion, then salt n pepper. Takes me back, sunny saturday evening, macgyver on tv (yes, the americanization of norway was well on the way back in the 90's ^^), crisps, chocolate n coca cola on the table ^^ Back when life was trouble free. Or .. reletatively so though.

Been trying to find good crisps for years, very few and far between. I actually eat cashew nuts now if i eat anything like that, roasted n salted. Not too many at a time either. Gotta watch the diabeetus. Actually going well with that nowadays, regular readings of 5-7 or 8 if i eat a lot. But i make healthy food these days. Pizza with healthy dough and so. 25% fine wheat, 25% coarse rhye and 50% whole ground coarse wheat flour. Works well.

The real difficult thing about diabetes is that, after a meal you typically crave something sweet, sugar or such. But usually, what we eat is turned into glucose or sugar in the body, but it takes time, typically ours. That's the hard part. The solution is if one has to give in to the cravings, eat a -little- bit.. just a tiny piece. The body can handle that. It's the big bites that we have to cut out.
