So i needed to pay 1,40 eurocoins
So i give 2 euro coin and a 50cent coin

what i want back is 1 euro coin and a 10 cent coin

But the cashier panicked, a sleight of hand.
She give me back my 50 cent coin, and say, i rather only take the 2euro coin
and gives me back a 50 cent coin and a 10cent coin

Why are you operating a cash register if you can't even count to 10?

I have to teach so many new, young team members basic cash handling.

90+% of our transactions are now card. The younger generation (I hate saying that) tend to be useless at basic math, the additional “pressure” of someone standing there waiting for change can make some crumble 😅

I'm more interested in what you would use the 1 + 10 coyn for ............

But yes lol, some stories like that always happen.. went through a tiny heap of saved up coyn some months ago. About 40€/400 NOK. There is a chain store called OBS opened up 2 years ago near city center where i live. Same chain store that operated where i grew up late 80's early 90's, man those were good times, mechanical slot machines, pinballs, lots of stuff happening. However, this new store has those bowl-drop-in coyn counting machines, not the 1 and 1 .. but a whole fistfull at a time ^^ So i went there to use it.. lol.. i shopped.. and asked if i could drop in all of my coyn at once. She said yes, sure. I did, almost all. The thing malfunctioned ^^ "chrr chrr chrr..." she opened it, pressed a button, some coyn dropped out, i had to do it over 2-3 times ^^ Finally it got it counted. She said next time, drop a few in at a time please ^^ Okay i said ..

Lol ^^ Give me instructions but then tell me off later.. next time i'll put glue on a few coins and have the damn thing get sneaky proper destroyed xD
