There are a few different ways people play nova sorc but the most common is usually:

Self wield Infinity Scythe
Griffons
Maras or 3lite/10fcr ammy
Vipermagi
Magefists
Arachnid Mesh
2x SOJ or 1x SOJ and 1x 10fcr Ring depending on your amulet setup
Eth Treks/Silkweaves/War Travs/Aldurs Boots are all good options but I prefer Eth Treks for FHR and poison res
Torch
Anni
Skillers
CTA + Lidless on switch (lidless vs Spirit Mon to save stat points)

Merc can also change around a bit but I like to use Prayer A2 merc with:
Cure Helm
Fort/CoH/Gladiators Bane/Stone for chest depending on budget
Insight Thresher/Cryptic Axe/Colossus Voulge

also a 5 socket staff with + to energy shield and maybe one of the cold armor would be even better for a CTA
