All that's known so far is;

>suspect was engaged by secret service outside of the ballroom / in the lobby, not in the room with Trump and the press
>multiple gunshots were fired
>suspect was video taped on the ground, stripped at least partially and still alive/moving while being restrained by law enforcement / secret service
>guests remained in the room and reported until finally johnny law gave the all clear and said everyone should clear out per crime scene protocol
>trump will hold a press conference in 30 minutes, and hopes to host this dinner again soon

The unverified report is that the suspect attempted to charge through the metal detectors while shooting at secret service, and was shot by them and taken down, condition unknown.
